Hardware NL2X vs. Software Disco

Hello, krushing! Long time no see! :)

Have anyone seen the video yet?
I used to own an NL2X and loved it. I also had one of the earlier versions of the Disovery software synth, but never compared them like in this video.

Since Discovery is a third party replica it may explain the difference in sound. Therefore it would have been cool to hear a similar compare between the software legacy pack from Korg (for example) and the Korg hardware synths, since they’re both coming from Korg itself.

As far as the Korg products, I only have experience with the M1. The software version is pretty much the same as far as I can recall. There's really no reason why software versions of sound modules should sound any different than their hardware counterparts, other than the sound the converters factor in. Even so, can't expect a very high quality AD or even DA converter in a sound module so software might even be better in some respects.
