Can i use a M-audio 61es without USB? Just MIDI

Hi,

A friend of mine somehow managed to break my USB port on the M-audio 61es keyboard. Can I still use it with a MIDI cable?

There's only MIDI OUT No MIDI IN on this keyboard..Is that going to be a problem .. It has a DC in so I can buy a 9V adapter to give power. Kinda in a hurry to know so pls reply fast if u guys knw about this..:cheers:

thanks..the manual said USB in/out but MIDI out only...
so i thought maybe i need midi in/out to cnnect the computer as well..
i knew that might nt be the case but just wanted to make sure..
