Project number two I am working on, I have toyed around with the keyboard mappings in Ableton, and it is fairly versatile. I saw a YouTube video of a guy who took one and mapped it right, then popped off the keys he hadnt used and made a pretty ghetto stompbox. I want to do the same thing, but I have two mod ideas-
wireless keyboard. I think it would be a better solution for me, and I would like to explore that. What kind of latency issues do wireless keyboards run into? Would it turn into a mess when I get in proximity with wireless mics or other things?
covering the keyboard with a box and putting real push buttons (or retro arcade style buttons) on the box. Should I just look for buttons that manually would depress the keys, or would it be pretty simple to wire buttons in place of the keys?
