alright everyone this is it, the final fight. the AKAI MPC 2000XL V.S. AKAI MPC 3000, these brothers are done with all the shiz talk between whos better, so they decide to dook it, write what you belive is the better man and why. i belive the 2000xl jus cause its a original classic, but what do you think. this will be the last thread on teh depate between the M*P*C's

WHOA!!! there my friend. The 2000 XL is far from the original and nowhere near classic. The MPC 60 and MPC 3000 are classics. The 2000 XL is the youngest sibling, until the 4000 drops. The 60 came out in 1988, the 3000 in 1994, just had to clarify that.

As far as which one I think is better, the 3000. I had the original 2000 and felt it's construction was flimsy to say the least and it's sound to my ear was pretty thin, that just didn't cut it for me.
