Triton Studio arpeggio problems w/ Cubase SX

Ok,

Not sure what's up here, but help! I have synced my Triton Studio up to Cubase SX 3. I have the keyboard set to ext. midi clock.

I want to be able to record the Triton's arpeggiation data into Cubase. The instructions say to turn the Triton's Local Control on and to turn the midi thru (echo back) on Cubase off. I've done this but I'm not getting any sound or data coming thru. Has anyone had trouble like this or had to get their Triton serviced?
 
This might sound simple, but do you have your audio connections and midi hooked up correctly.

I use Cubase LE and my connections for using the computer to sequence are

Midi Out Soundcard---->Midi in Karma
Midi In Soundcard---->Midi out Karma

Audio outs Karma---->Audio ins Soundcard
 
yes...I use the Cubase and the Triton all the time together. Everything works like it should and it's all set up correctly...just can't get the Triton to produce arps when the midi clock on the triton is set to external.
