Triton LE Sequencer Question - Muting Tracks in Realtime?

Is it possible to mute tracks in real time while recording?

I keep trying but can't find a way for it to work...

It doesn't say anything about it in the manual.
 
I'm not sure about this, but i think you have me in overdub mode and then jus mute the track while recording. Let me know if it works.
