The New Roland SP-606 in action!

Everything is tightexcept for the seq.,because it only has 4 tracks.

I've been checking this out since GoGetta posted the video link last night.

This is a much more powerful device than it appears on the surface.

I may need to get one.

word... well... WORD!!!

Is this the new series of the SP 808???

I like so much the SP 808, that I bought another one.

This sampler is so, so good to play on live acts, and for experimenting.

when you like to sample a lot, from everywhere, ambient sounds, birds, tv, dvd, your friends, etc, etc, you need big storage capability. The SP808 works very fast, it has 1 hour of storage at 44.1 Mhz, is easy to carry. When you have two, the possibilities grows.

I'll definitly will check this one.

The bad side of the SP 808: 4 sample poly,

that more than anything is why i choose gear...

This could actually help you in a live situation desspite the limited sequencing. YOu could assign very little to the sequencer and assign patterns to the pads and trigger that way and free you up to concentrate on your other gear...or consiolodate your stuff to this and free up your hands from the other gear some to work the SP-606. Which makes better sense than dragging $???????.?? worth of gear to every show.

Ya the video is nice I agree wit cha infradead! Any price on the 606 yet?
