Need Help Sampling With Yamaha Motif6

Whats up everyone?..I have read manuals and read more manual until I cant read manuals anymore but HOW in the world do I use the integrated sampler..I
wanna be able to use sampled instruments and sounds because I have
found some contacts with some GREAT sounds I could use but I dont
know how to loadem into the motif. I also have tried using the mic input to record my voice..butttt.HOW..is there any software that
will work with the motif...ANy help would be GREATLY appreciatied...Thanks in advance.
 
I don't think too many people on this planet has figured out the sampling on the Motif yet.

Anyways the easiest is in Pattern mode. Select an empty track
Hit the sample button
pick the type of sample you want: sample, slice, sample by note (something like that)
start recording..........
edit you sample
now play it in the pattern.
 
Of your tryin to load a sample,save the samples on a smart media and go to file,then go to load,then go to .wav,then load the sound.but you just wanna sample something just go to song or pattern mode,hit the sampler button choose what type of samplin you want to do,then start recording,but make sure your gain is up,or you wont here the input device.
