no mpc (except 4000) is worth the $1000+ price tag. Let me repeat: NO MPC, EVERN BRAND NEW, IS WORTH $1000+ PRICE TAG.
I bought the 2000xl new for 1300 and I was kicking myself for months wondering why the **** did I spend this much money on such a machine. I would never part with the 2000xl, but it's nowhere near worth $1400.
Buddy, the 2500 is worth $700 at most. The only reason you don't see it at that price (rarely) is because the suckers who are selling em paid almost $2000 for it and now they're trynna make some of their dough back through another sucker.
You can get a damn mv 8000 for around $800-$900 on ebay nowadays. Theres some that go for $1200 (it's worth it) but dont go for those, there are always 8000's at great condition going for around $800-$900.
DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $700 FOR A 2500. IF YOU;RE GONNA SPEND THAT MUCH SPEND IT ON A MORE CAPAPBLE MACHINE LIKE THE MV 8000.
