    Chopping on MPC2000XL

    should i load loops on to the MPC then chop em or should i load the whole song which one do most of u do ?? thanks in advanced

    i load up the sample and chop it...its kinda pointless for me to load up the whole song...

    ONly record-in what you want to chop up. Recording the whole song is loco.

    im using mp3's

    so i should get loops or watever i wana chop and use right ?

    Yes. You can record-in anything from your sound source...CD/DVD player, record player etc... Next to my record player I have a DVD player connected to my mixers inputs as well- the mixers outputs go into the MPC record in. DVD players play mp3's, CD and DVD's.
