akai mpc2000xl

get a set of RCA-->1/4 cable (left and right channel)
hook up one side to the back of your mixer and
send the other end in the "record in" 1/4 jacks on the back of the akai mpc, enter into sample mode, adjust the threshold, rec gain accordingly and start the sample..

hope this helps

not a problem, hope everything works for you. once you start sampling with akai mpc2kxl it takes you over.
you can record and loop from record into the box, automaticly slice the loop into 16 zone and assign them to a drum bank for remixing. it is sick..

let me know if you have any other problems..

Beat Slice

What kind of sorce material do you sample.(if you can say) I never really used the function on my mpc because I thought it would be to rigidly quantised to work
