Been using my ultralite mk3 with my intel core duo mac for about 2 - 3 years now with logic 8. The other day I powered on everything, and went back to work for the first time in 2 weeks. I have made no changes to my setup whatsoever, and now logic 8 is no longer recognizing the mk3. I have ensured that all the setup in logic's audio preferences correctly corresponds. Also, my mk3 is powering on without any issues and is receiving audio input when I hit a key on the keyboard because I can see the levels increase everytime I hit a key. I tried reinstalling the mk3 software, downloaded and updated all my drivers and still nothing.
Do you think this is an issue with my firewire cable or do you think the mk3 is fried? Any help is appreciated, I have a track that I was procrastinating on and now i need to get it done asap.
