    Hello.

Which one of these two models would you choose having budget around 150 pounds -M Audio Oxygen with 61 keys or Novation Launchkey with 49 keys.
Just been starting with edm/hip hop beats production and need this advice.
    Thank You

Go try both of those at a local store. Do you know what you want in a keyboard?

You need to know if a ton of knobs is or is not a necessity, you need to know if you want weighted or semi weighted keys, keys with or without aftertouch, also please inform yourself of what you want/need based on your level of playing.

If you're just buying your first MIDi controller, I don't think you absolutely need to know those things – although it's obviously a good thing to educate yourself about the possibilities. But pretty much any of these will do just fine, and then when you've got a bit of experience, you might figure out that you'd like to be able to do this or that little thing, and hey, maybe there's another product that does what I want - but without that experience, you can endlessly ponder whether or not you'll need aftertouch (for example). Best thing to do, imo, is read up a bit, go to a store, ask a bunch of silly questions and then buy something that seems like a good fit. If it turns out it's not, you sell it and buy something else, now probably armed with better knowledge of what that might be.
