Whilst Juno's are " Nice But not that Special " when they were new they were Cheap synths aimed at the low end of the market. If you have 3-4K to spend then Jupiter8 OB8 OBX Prophet5 CS80. for the Old stuff. New gear you could check out the Jupiter80 other than that the Dave Smith Prophet08 or the Poly Evolver
If its versatillity your after Analog generally isn't the way to go Most of the "Classic" Roland Juno's Poly's from Korg e.t.c e.t.c are pretty limited In most cases 1 Osc/ Voice 1 filter section and envelope shared between VCF and VCA not very versatile really.

Im with Juliandroid on the Komplete 8 idea. I have a virus TI, it's great, it's fun to program but it's more useful as a controller than a synth these days. I use Kontakt for pretty much everything. Even sounds made on a virus get thrown into Kontakt for processing.
