ProjectMix I/O through USB?!

I was wondering if in anyway it was possible to connect the M-Audio ProjectMix I/O through USB.

I am running off apparently the only MacBook model without a Firewire port unfortunately.


Also, anyone think ProjectMix is a bad investment, if so why and what are some better options/ideas? Thanks for the help everyone..

Word thanks! Thats what I was wondering will it work well if I used a Firewire to USB adapter?

Sure , it should work . Just remember firewire is faster than USB so you can expect more latency , but it should work

I'm very sure. USB to Firewire adapters are never good for audio interfaces. It's cheap to try though if you already have the ProjectMix.
