monitors...amp???

I got some monitors, from a friend.... and i just want to know if i need an amp too???

i figure i do but will it work with just my mixer for now???

depends

it really depends if the monitors you bought or the mixer you have are amplified or not. In case or mixer doesnt have amplification, and your monitor neither, you sure have to buy an amp.
