Try looking at the Sager laptops.... they make desktop replacement machines .... also chekc out Clevo.
Both these companies make the same laptop as the Alienware high end lappies ... but without the aleienware logo and price point. thier still expensive $1500-2000 ... but they are screaming fast!
ya clevo and sager are the same! sager buys barebone systems from clevo and private lables them. i have a older one (2.8 1024mb memory and a cool ass mp3 player that docks like a pcmcia card) it runs like a dream i can do whatever on it.
