krk rokit 6 equivalent?

what is a good pair of monitors in the same price range as krk rokit 5 or 6. nearly every video i watch is someone with krk rokits. are they really that good? what is a good alternative?

M Audio BX5A, Mackie MR5, Yamaha HS50 for a little more money. Their all good.

The Yamaha HS50 is a little more money but for the price you can't beat them. Even at $400 for the pair you see them in million dollar studios.

The rockit's were my first set because of all the great reviews 4-5 years ago, they were a good starter set if your strapped for cash but they hiss like a mofo distorting a lot of what your hearing so you'd be better off saving a little more. The Yamaha's are much better I've herd the hs80's, they are nice, lots of used sets on the net for cheap.

currently have the jbl lsr4326 and love them. I know the jbl lsr2326's are cheap price wise but have not listened to them but they could be another option.

I agree on the M-audio Bx5a's their great, The sound is amazing I started myself with a pair of the Av40's(Not good IMO) But ever since Ive got the Bx5a's Ive had no problem period.
