Headphones..Which ones?! Help me out guys

Alright here is my problem. My old headphones just snapped..they sucked anyways so I dont really care..But now I have the cash to pick up some hot gear. I need to choose between either of these 2

Technics 1200A- The silver ones...look really hot..139$
or
Sony MDR- Top o the line Sony...the 119$ ones.

Now they are both GREAT Headphones...and I just cant choose!..So gimme a bit of help here please...Thanks yall

I have a sony MDR 7506 i love the sound BUT I am not mixing/djing with it at all, i just monitor mu productions.

I would go with the Technics, they seem more appropriate for DJs than the Sonys.

Sony MDR V600 and MDR V900 are my favorite. AKG also makes good headphones.

What are you using these for? Djing or monitoring during production? For dj use go with the techs. Sony's headphones tend to crack. For monitoring during production I suggest the Audio Technica Athm40s's. Check out their frequency range.
