Buying a PowerMac - buy now or wait for the switch to Intel?

I've decided to dump my PC and switch over to a Power Mac . My PC is dying, and I dont want to deal with buying or building another one.

So my question is - no one seems to know when the PowerMac will be available with the new Intel chips. Some people say fall, others say late 2007.

For you MAC users out there - would you wait till the Intel version comes out, or would you go ahead and buy the G5 (Im going all out and thinking about getting the quad)

My concern is that software developers will start focusing solely on making future products compatible with Intel, and not continuing to make versions built for the G5 chip.

If you are purely planing on using only mac products the go with the G5. But with the intel chipped mac's like the Macbook pro's you can also have dual OS startups with either OSX or Windows XP and use either program via bootcamp.
