Behringer Xenynx 502 and FL Studio

make sure that your input is set to USB Audio CODEC and the RCA lead is connected to the INPUT of the Interface and the Tape Output of the Mixing Desk!!... this will then take the main mix from the Mixing desk.... make sure that your levels are significant enough to be picked up in the DAW's level meters.

What DAW are you using by the way?

i'm using fl studio but i got it to show up in cool edit 2000 but the levels are very low we turned all the volumes up and it was still pretty low any suggestions?

So what kind of mic is it? Is the phantom power on if needed? The more info you give us on how everything's set up, the easier it's for us to pinpoint where the problem is.

its a dynamic mic using and xlr input there's not phantom power switch on here so im assumin that's the problem but it may be something else

dynamic mics don't require phantom power, so if it is a dynamic mic, the lack of phantom power isn't the problem.

1) What kind of cables are you using
2) Which mic is it, specifically
3) What settings are you using on the mixer channel the mic's hooked up to
4) What settings are you using in CEP/FL
5) Have you tried recording anything else, like a regular line-level source (say, a cd player)

Like I said before, the more you give us info, the easier it is to help.
