Avalon VT737

Maybe you should post the question at gearslutz. The likeliness of people having experience with high end stuff is higher over there;-)

Sure, I have one, is there something specific you want to know?

When I was working with only one artist mainly, I had originally bought a different preamp that I had A/B tested in store that seemed best for his voice. But it didn't work so great for other people's voices. The great thing about the Avalon is that it almost never sounds bad for someone, so barring a dozen preamps for every different kind of vocal tone, it's a great piece of gear because it "just works."
