About external sound card?

Hi Guys,

I wanted to ask, do I really need external soundcard to get good mixes, is it really important? I use now Tannoy 402 Studio Monitors and FL Studio 11. Is the Sound really different when you connect your external soundcard?, if yes, can you recommend me something in price range 100-200€?

Nope, not really, not with this budget. When you have stellar, acoustically treated room with magnificent speakers in a perfect position, then you can start worrying about your converter quality (which is the only thing that matters sound quality wise if not recording any external sources).

I can tell you that trying to research that stuff is a can of insane sandworms. It's very very hard to find any kind of objective statement about A/D/A conversion.

quality will improve due to better conversion, how much is depending on the soundcard but don't expect massive differences.
