Sampler/Maschine preferences?

When you sample (at least in maschine) you have the choice of:
none
Record
Record/play
regarding quantization.

What do you guys personally use/prefer and why?
 
I'm all about the MPC 2000XL. I think it's true that when some people find a piece of gear that clicks with them, they stick with it for a very long time. It has it's limitations but all in all, it's the one for me. If i could change anything about it though, I'd like to have the ability to sample while still being able to build the beat/play other sounds. But I'll live without it.

MPC2000xl all the way! I combinate it with reason 7 that i just bought ! Its a truly amazing combination! The mpc has it limitations as said before but with reason it gives me the tools to try something fresh and new ....

I usually quanitize all my samples. It tends to happen because of my workflow and how I choose to sample.
