I've tried googling, youtube, ableton forums, etc. and I cannot find how to route my compressor (Alesis 3630)
I'm hoping someone here can help me out. To start off:
1) I am using an Akai EIE Pro audio interface. My monitors are routed through output 1/2.
2) I am using Channel A of the Alesis 3630 compressor (it has 1 input and 1 output). I routed my compressor's input into my audio interface's output 3, and routed my compressors' output into my audio interface's input 1
3) I then throw an "External Audio Effect" live device onto my A Return channel. In the device, I route Audio To to 1, and I route Audio From to 3.
4) Lastly, I grabbed a kick sample and cranked the Send A all the way up. Tweaking with my 3630, I still had no results.
