ReWiring Reason into Logic

Whats up guys,
I am looking to ReWire Reason into logic so that I can record vocals onto tracks that I produced in reason. I have a few questions about some problems that I have been having doing this

I set up the track in logic with the RW L/R Input and thats about as much as I have done.

1.) When ReWired, the pads on my MIDI controller (Akai MPK49) develop a slight delay when played back. Any way to fix this?

2.) Is there any way to record in Reason and Logic simultaneously?

1) go to preferences in reason and turn off "use controller in reason" thats probably your issue

I used to use protools and i had a pretty good PC and it ran slow, it had lag during recording and would have a delay in playback. I have a 2010 macbook pro dual core i7 processor with 8 gb of memory and am in the process of purchasing reason and logic to use them together, will my computer be slow when using the programs or should i invest in a desktop to use the programs effectively? I dont know how much strain these programs put on a laptop amd i really dont want to feel "limited" when recording or making music.
