I have a few beats on my MPC 500 ready for upload, the problem is, I'm not sure how to do it. I have my MPC500 connected (through MIDI cables) to my Presonus Audiobox USB, which then connects to my MacBook Pro. I tried two DAWs and neither of them worked. The first was GarageBand and the second was Cubase LE 5. I went into system preferences, then sound, then set my input to AudioBox USB. When using GarageBand, I set the application's preferences as the same. I played the beat while recording, but nothing was recognized. The same occurred with Cubase. (I'm not sure if this has been asked in any other thread, but I need help with my specific issue) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
