Hi, I am a beginner on Ableton Live. I was making a track and at the ending part, I was trying to fade out by lowering the volume.
Here is the problem, someone the Master Volume doesn't have any effect to my scenes. Looks like it is deactivated. Not sure what it is. Below is the screenshot.

The fact that the "track volume" part is grayed out makes me think that the automation is disabled. Click on it and see if it lights up or gives you an option to turn it on. In Cubase, the channels have a "w" and an "r" to write/read automation. Ableton's may be slightly different, but the same idea. With Cubase, when read is diabled, the automation doesn't do anything.

The "back to arrangement" button is for this. If you automate something and fiddle with the automated control afterwards, it overrides & turns off the automation. Back to arrangement re-enables automation.

Hi Krushing,

I re-open my Ableton Live and everything works fine. I am able to The master volume isn't grey out.
If that happens again, I gona press "back to arrangement" button.
Thanks everybody. Have a good day. :)

Thanks,
Wong
