help with alesis multimix firewire

have a multimix 12 and my comp is running windows xp.

i have downloaded the drivers from the alesis website.

I have a pci firewire card installed and the computer recognized it and its installed.

when i plug the mixer into the firewire port, nothing happens.

when i look at the status through the alesis program it says no device found.

need help!

I have the same problem, I have an io 26 and a XP laptop, I can get the computer to see the device, but can't get any programs to....also firewire light not lit up on alesis either.....

It's strange, seems to be a common problem, with lots of people in the same situation, but no answers????

did you get it to work???

Hey, I wasn't able to get it to work with xp. Instead I bought the behringer USB interface and connecting the INS and outs into the mixer and the interface into the computer. I have all the features of the mixer with a USB connection. It beat buying USB version but it's better than having a FireWire mixer I can't use. And for what I use it for it works perfectly fine, no latency issues, no issues at all. Hope this helps.
