Having hard time sampling

Hey people.

I make hip hop music.

Lately...I have really had hard time finding good samples that I like or that sound good to me.

Can anyone maybe recommend me some artists to try to sample, maybe some places where to find samples, what genres to sample...maybe some places to learn how to sample better.. ?

look up your favorite producer on youtube, listen to they beats, ID they samples, then look off to the side on youtube there will be similar song to choose from. Example look up 9th wonder there will be songs he sample & songs he didn't, select an artist listen to they music get a vibe look off to the side select an other artist listen and etc..

Just listen to music. You can listen to your favorite genre or step outside your box. The key is finding that sound that happens to come to your ear that makes you wanna chop it up!
