I've been making beats for a while now but I'm very new to sampling. (working on a new work flow with my fresh maschine). In my travels I've recently come across the program sound flower. I find the ability to sample internally extremely useful considering a lot of the songs I sample are from my itunes library. So it cuts down a few steps in chopping a sample. (exporting converting to .wav, )
I notice it gives you the option up the sample rate but I'm still curious how it compares with a direct input as far as quality. Is one better than the other? Is it the same?
