Fitting A sample with drum pattern

Hey guys I'm kind of new at this and could use a little pit of help.

So i made a drum pattern at 78 BPM that I really like and I found a sample that i think would fit very nicely with it. I figured out that the sample was at 60BPM. I chopped it up into 16 parts to play with it a little bit on my keyboard and found a sequence that sounds pretty good. Now I need help fitting this onto the 78 BPM drum pattern I created. How can I get my chopped up sample at the project BPM?( and also, do I have the option of keeping the same pitch or will it have to increase in pitch because the tempo is increased?)

Thanks a lot guys,
Happy Mixing

In FL Studio you can Pitch-Up a sample and than Edit the sample with Tools and do Pitch-Shifting on Pro Default to make it in pitch-tone lower so that it sounds like the Original again.
Say you pitch up the sample 7+ semitones the regular way, Than you need to Edit it and Pitch Shift it on Pro Default to -7 semitones down.
So it sounds like the Original but played faster.

Why not just timestretch it to match the desired BPM before you chop it?
Or chop smaller and make the sample fit the drum pattern.

Peace
