If your an audiophile, meaning...if you like CLEAN, CLEAR, PRECISE SOUNDS.. you HAVE to have a Rane. These mixers dont even have power switches because the extra circuit hinders the sound quality. They are w/out a the cleanest sounding mixers avail. But dont take my word for it. Go into a gear shop and have em play the same record on the same tables with different mixers. Listen. Learn. (YOU SHOULD DO THIS ANYWAY)

Vestax's are good. They are setup well for fast mixing, and are generally more geared towards scratching.

What type of music do you spin? What do you need out of a mixer?
