What do you want to do? You want to remove a voice from a music track as much as possible? I think the "cut voice" efects are mainly EQ settings, cutting most of the high mediums.. i am not sure.. maybe someone else has an idea..

Maybe rephrase your question. It oculd help the others

Well, you want to make a remix? Convert your MP3 file to a WAV file. then import it in Sound FOrge or any wav editing program.

Select 1 beat, where the singer is not singing... you should find that somewhere in the song.

Drag this selection out of the whole song wav, and make it a separate sample.

Use this beat sample in your sampler or acid, or whatever you use for your music, loop it, and maybe make different versions of it (cut lo version, cut high version..).

Importing this loop in ACID sound slike a good cheap solution if you don' thave any equipment...

Hope I helped a bit here

To add onto Mano1's post...

If you got a beat loop already, or just another song, and you want to take some lyrics or a phrase out of 1 song and mix it ontop of the other it's really pretty simple, but hard to get exactly the voice out of a song.

Basically what you would do is open the song u want to take the lyrics out of in Sound Forge or whatever audio editor u got. Then select the lyrics or phrase u want to get out of that song, and then find your EQ filters. Basically what you want to do here is elimated all the lower end frequencies and maybe some higher end so that you can mainly just hear your lyrics after the EQ filter has been applied. The problem with this is you will never be able to 'EXACTLY' just cut out the lyrics out, you will always get some frequencies/sounds/etc. along with our lyrics. The only way to just get the lyrics out of the song is if you had the original recordings of each the different tracks. So basically select the part of the song u want, EQ it till u can mainly just hear the lyrics, then save just the lyrics.

Next open up you Multitrack/Mixing program or whatever you are going to use and just put your lyrics on top of the beat or song you want to mix it with. You will have to match the tempo, etc., but that's out of the scope of this post.

Hope this helps,
