Hopefully, sometimes this year, all the music shareware and freeware will be availabel directly on onlineDJ.com with reviews and ratings. For now, I suggest you to go to downloads.com and to dig through the links.

Also, you might wanna check out http://www.buzztrack.com , and download BUZZ, it is one of the best free programs. Some of my friends are using only this program to do everything, but you'll need quite a few months in order to understand it and use it efficiently.

ps: I think Rebirth is really worth the money, so is Gigasampler (if you are using a sequencer to control it), PRO-52 (VST synthesizer to use with Cubase), and Reason (not out yet).
