Can anyone clarify my confusion? I'm checking out the Layla24 from Echo and the following link indicates that the 8 analog inputs are 20-bit. http://www.zzounds.com/love.music?p=...=1053726464734 Does that defeat the whole rest of its 24-bit architecture? If I don't want to use a digital mixer, should I search for a different breakout box/card combination that has true 24-bit inputs? Thanks in advance!

hmmmm
I don't know. I myself have a Layla... but it's a Layla 20, not 24. Check out the website and see if that'll clear it up.

www.echoaudio.com

Or email them too, like i.n.s. said.

Thanks, Guys - I got my answer from Echo. They're pissed that ZZounds has their stats screwed up. It is 24 in and 24 out. Maybe they forgot to update their product descriptions from the original Layla model. Looks like a Layla24 in my future.
