I want to get the best music maker thats fairly simple for a demo but don't want to spend over 100.00 bones. Any idea's on which one I should get....

you should look into getting ORION maybe, its a great one too.

also.. if you can spend a few more dollars, get REASON.

Try Acid. I have acid 4.0. You can get the free demo on its website. Witch gives you the full version but has a pop up every three min's.

try the fruityloops demo before you try anything else. it is far superior to the others as far as comparing price to features.
