i got a sp808 groove sampler after i got a dr 202 and i really liked the 202
it did what i wanted it to for a long time
the sp 808 can do simple 4 track recording straight to a zip disk internaly so its good like that and its the same basic idea as the 202 but bigger and with more effects and with the d-beam it rocks
im looking at a akai dps121 for my first digital multitracker it seems to be good
tascam has some dope multitrackers with the new portastudio looks right on
i was just on ebay and i saw a roland vs840ex for 300.00 wich is pretty cheap
i got lots a questions too about the art of home music making maybe if you get any good answers you can get back with me and keep me up to date
have you ever had any experience with a mc 505 im looking at getting one to dig with the 808 together they make a good team
cool
