i think d-lusion get my vote been playing with the drumstation and rubberduck all day and have enjoy them I can't wait to buy them.
Their ideal for me just wanting to put a few funky loops in flash or shockwave file
both well worth $35, now u couldn't find a hardware synth for that much down the secondhand shop

D-Lusion is a great tool for drums. I just wish the pitch-shifting would be there.

Rubberduck though, kicks some 303 A**. I've used it in one of my tunes. The clipping distortion you can get is great.
