just curious what type of industrial/rock/alternative people listen to. i'm a huge joe satriani fan so i guess i sway towards instrumental rock. i've also found myself listening to a lot of techno like bt, orbital and cirrus. maybe i'm just sick of stupid lyrics. bands like pantera, system of a down, and clutch fix that.

Even though Fred Durst is a punk, I like the music his band makes. Their new album is supposed to be really angst ridden and loud, obnoxious rock. Most of these rap-metal bands are fading for more real rock music. Folk music is coming back too. Instrumentals are making more breakthroughs. Metallica has a few that really rock. So does Phish. I love listening to music in general and then mixing it up for a party.

Sorry we can't let you in.
But I'm in Weezer.

fred durst is such a wanker that his music doesn't even come into it, korn are sponsored by addidas (need i say more), and the whole of the rock scene is currently infested with imposters. Rage against the machien will always in my opinion be imortal gods (especialy tom morello and zach de la rocha), but you gotta be carefull not to get to rapped up in the politics

If at first you dont suceed

You got it DJ fresh, rock/metal is full of **** bands all there to milk the popularity of the music scene at the moment, rage have always been one of my favourites and i like incubus too. Other bands have seemed to sell out more and more recently, like korn and limp bizkit esp.
It is sad to see, but that always happens when money is involved.
Viva la revolucion!
