Garage is the future, and this album is the sweetest piece of Choon. It's sound for cutting in, and even though it's damn expensive, pure garage flavas have never come so good.
Phat Sounds that live it LARGE !!! The UK scene is the way forward.

(P.S. - Whoever said Trance is dead is also more wrong than the Brittany Spears album)

Garage - Trance.
I'd like to see a connection.
Am I wrong but isn't Garage an energetic rock style with edgy distortion? Fill me in here.

I know that they don't mix and i don't mix them together, but i said it because there is rumour going around England that trance is dead, and i would just like to set the record straight.
Not too keen on german stuff, but am keenly awaiting the new BT album, after he did the libra single ("calling your name") with taylor, which rocked about 6 monthes ago.

Living in the UK I can say that UK Garage is mainly a London Thing, there are not many clubs outside London they play UK Garage. The Dream Deam recently had a Radio 1 essential mix from Aiya Napa and the reviewers basically slated it as being boring and repetative. MJ Cole is a superb producer and has produced some great tracks but UK Garage is becoming way to commercial. They sound in the clubs at the moment is still basically Trance but many are now turning to the more Tech -Progressive Style like DJ`s Steve Lawler and Danny Howells play

i don't know man UK garage is the continuation of jungle all the two step stuff is now done by ex-jungle produces because the beats are similar and the bass lines are the same just drop down a few bpm, think its because of the tech step era that put a lot of people off d&b those nasty dark sounds (ie grooverider "prototype years") so lots of people like UK garage because it has the same effect as jungle did ur very wrong that its a London thing (joke there) because all major cities have a garage night

I'll agree that trance is dead in the UK because i saw sasha play last year and he was just **** there was no atmosphere in the club, and tunes were just weak too.
Trance for me is the early 90's thats when the best trance tunes were made ie Sabres of Paradise "smoke belch"

Yes Chriss u are wrong go to http://www.juno.co.uk to hear some samples

It's a part of the electronic culture that is bloody annoying !

I dont know which club ade went to, but the clubs I have been to recently, Cream and Godskitchen at Code had superb atmosphere, Trance is certainly not dead. None of the decent clubs I go to play UK Garage as it would not fill the club.

hypes they bloody suck, for me the golden era of trance was the early 90's tunes from hardfloor, underworld, sabres of paradise, Sven Vath, jam & spoon, u know who i am talking about. I got fed up with trance becaue all these stupid smelly hippies used to come to the trance clubs thinking it was the new rock music, sorry nook i am protective about my music, i go down the records shop search for tunes and then some dickhead comes along and pisses me off, its just attitude there is too much of it when u go clubbing.

It puts me off the music too, because at one jungle night i saw a stabbing, then the bloke who got stabbed started fights with everyone including me

Also i think music should evolve for me trance really hasn't, i not taking about new sub genre just sounds they sound similar to 93 and 94, i think i am turn more funky in my old age

Ya I agree, that's why I don't like clubbing much, I always wonder if ppl there are only here because it's the hype or if they really like electronic music... I got some friends like that !

I have been clubbing for over 6 years and have yet to see any trouble, I think you have to choose the venue or get feedback from other people. I think you are right about the attitude though, after all the hype over Home in Leicester square London I decided to go, what a load of s***, attitude galore and no atmosphere. Give me Sundissential and Godskitchen any day. There is nothing better than hearing your tracks in a club though. I recently had one of my tracks played at Bakers in Birmingham.
