heh... can't say i've ever heard of Plastyk... I'm naive tho, heh....
One of the most beautiful things I've experienced in my 22 years of life on this planet
is being in a small club in Hollywood at 4am while the DJ was 'spinning pure love' to
the crowd, and every single one of us was totally feeling and immersing ourselves
in the music, and each other...
I couldnt believe what I saw as I looked around... Big black guys dancing with
latino guys dancing with white girls dancing with an asian dude in a wheelchair
dancing with what looked like a greek dude who was dancing with an elderly woman.
ALL totally raving their asses off and having nothing but 100% respect for each other.
Sure, there may be some drug activity, but I heartilly support any drug that can bring
such peace and respect to the human race, if only for a few hours

Also, the 'rave scene' has been grossly tainted by the media.
With countless news reports stating that 'raves are a place for drugs, sex, and crazyness,'
well no **** a million kids are going to seek them out simply for the purpose of
doing these things... in a way, that has ruined it for the rest of us who go for the
music and togetherness etc...
Also, as someone who has done my share of ecstacy, and still enjoy it from time to time,
these spiritual events of togetherness and respect are not merely the result of a
drug induced state. Try going to a rave complete sober but still participate,
and you'll see, as I have, that the respect and other things that make an event
so special are still there, even without the drug.
So can rave die? I don't really think so... As long as there are people who can respect
each other and enjoy hanging out and dancing wildly to music they love, rave will not be dead.
I also think there is a large amount of the population who do not yet even understand what
rave culture is or what its about, and only hear the horror stories....shrug do we want
it mainstream? shrug...
Take care all
