HOLY MOLEY!!! Both of u are amazing!! I can't believe that such a high caliber battle would be in the first round!! :O :O Seriously I thought both of ur beats were so tight!!

Semik I loved ur beat and I was feeling u the whole time. I could put it on and just drift... Tho the ending was a bit of abrupt.

Man NFX ur production is so good. Ur beats show how much skill you got. I was just feeling Semik's beat more but your song was really good also. Hey I was wondering how you made that intro with the male voices. THat ish was off the hook!

Anyway, good luck to you both.

And our fate, is a lifetime of hate ...

My vote- NFX

Both beats were tight though.

Both of you kept your beats movin by adding things throughout.
I just felt like NFX had a more moody beat and could really hear an emcee cut loose on this track.

Semik- I really dont have anything negative to say about your beat- it was hot and I think your bass was nice and thick and you left a lot of room for vox.

My vote - Semik

Semik - Nice beat man. The mix down was real clean and the drums were nice and crisp. Thats a deep ass emotional sounding beat. That beat would be very easy to open up to and rip some real ass lyrics on.

NFX - I thought your track was cool but I wasnt really digging the drums.

vote to NFX
Excelent instrumentation and track manuscript. good drum pattern but the only weak spot is the choice of actual drum samples.

semik, the beat is nice dogg. the guitar sets this one off and the background effects give the song life. production is a force here!

NFX, this one kept me nervous. piano is coool throughout. and the wah sounds are one of my favorite. production is a force here too!

Hmm tough one....

NFX gets my vote. his joint just kept me bouncing. Both were nice as hell. I'd work with either of you.

The piano put it over thye top for me, it was well sequenced. It moved me more than the other as well.
