I want to get a sampler that I can use while I am spinnig. what is some good pointers to get me started? I would like it to be not so big, for obvious reasons and about the 500 dollar range.

The ES-1 [$425] the SP-303 [$319.00] SU200 [$369]

If I had to choose a "buget" sampler I would get the ES-1, because it's more then just a "Phrase Sampler". It can chop up your beats and you can always play your samples in time to an external MIDI device -- without the pitch chaging. Or tap the tempo to beat match with your turntables.

It also offeres you the SMART MEDIA CARD option, for backing up your samples.

Again, good luck.
