I cant wait to see what comes outta this man. I been into dancehall for years. Good lookin out on expanding music production horizons. I have a few dancehall tracks but I dont post beats anymore. One day you will hear dem on da radio. A few of my favorite dancehall cats Sean Paul, Beanie man, Wayne wonder, Lady saw, elephant man, bounty killa, and baton. Those cats all have a different element.

I used to HATE reggae music, but lately ive really been digging it. I got Beanie Mans new album (Tropical Storm), I loved it so much I went and got the last one (Art and Life). Imma hip-hop head at hart but reggae might be my lady on the side!

yeah I can dig dance hall for about 15 minutes. the beats and voice is cool, but it gets annoying when I dont understand what they saying. I got a friend that understands that shyt and he interprets it to me and some of the shyt they saying dumb, to me at least. nevertheless I love the beats and like making them sometimes just to keep well rounded in different music styles, dancehall always gets me hyped at the club.

you have to understand [jamaicans would say "overstand"]
the culture to appreciate the music.
the beats are nice yes.
but the lyrics mean a lot more than you think...
and if you want deeper lyrics with a clear voice [nice english..lol]
try some other artists...i could name quite a few.
and if you cant understand people like wanyne wonder there is something wrong.

Yeah, it's not too hard to understand once you get into it - and I'm Swedish!

Some of those lyrics are among the most wonderful poems I know, it's a beautiful ting! It could take a little effort to get into it, but it's definitely worth it. Start off with the Roots Radics and move on. Or as this guy I know would say: "One one coco fill up a basket".
