ok, i'll bite...

Both beats are well produced and sound really good.

Both beats are opposite as far as feel though.

Balsha - your track is more a poppish funky breakbeat less hip hop. It certainly doesn't remind me of "Doom" in any shape or form - it's almost happy sounding. I don't know if it's intentional but you have a percussion that sounds like a dog breathing heavy. Nice break down in the middle.

DJNate - this track is str8 pimpin' and fits more into the hip hop category. This is more of a raw stanky old school funk groove. It is a little more repeptive than Balsha beat. I like the drum fill used. I could hear this being rapped over.

I liked both tracks almost equally, but I'm a sucka for a laid back groove.

that's ok my man...that nate's tune it's really good..thnx for paying attention...

come one nate tell me how ya like mah track...i told you that yours is tight...

doom doom name came from the original song that i've sampled,i didn't wanna spoil that old track where the singer is saying"i'll shoot you str8 in da back-DOOM--i'm born to rule"i love that track,so i've sampled it...the guy who made the original doom doom is dead right now,so i'd like to say REST IN PEACE milan mladenovic...

you will hear my own hip hop in some further battles....

dude, balsha that beat sucked.........i would erase scarface's name, he would laugh at you......coming from the south it is even insulting to say that Scarface would rap to that.....youre not bad, i listened to the other beats you made.....but you seem like your a little too middle america and dont know what hip hop is.....these beats sound like they would be on the "Malibu's Most Wanted" soundtrack for some weird *** white kid with no skill to rap on......

DJNate - already.......2

ok dude..ya got the right to have your personal opinion...i ain't got no problem with that...just lemme tell you something MY MAIN GOAL IS TO ESCAPE FROM ESTABLISHED HIP HOP MAKING PATTERNS...i'm building my own style...beat by beat and i'll make it...i don't fit in west, south, east or the middle i don't want to sound like anyone else--i wanna sound like me....i make werid funky beats for MCs with highest skills who wanna experiment and create something new...believe me dawg,i can byte any style you want....DRE,Neptunes,timbaland,premier ,but idon't do that...i'm putting the first brick in the base of future hip hop...ya know what i'm saying???

and why you act like you now scarface personally???do you know him???how do you know what he would laugh at or not???i just said that it might fit to scarface's rapping style..not that i made it for him...

why don't you hit me with some of your stuff...i wanna hear yourHIP HOP beats....

give me a break man...i know very well what hip hop is and i wanna break that monotony in it...i don't wanna use obsolete loops and tricks to make my tracks...ya know what i'm sayin?

i'm trying to put together that rhytmic power of old school, nice digital sound of new school, fusion of Funk/Jazz plus some electronic tinge...

i guess that some low mind limited dudes can't feel it...

as i said...both nates tracks are tight but i've heared that tunes a while back before i even knew that any djnate2 even exist on this planet...if you want me to be honest, that's obsolete...even if i sample somebody,i don't sample something that has been sampled 1000 times before...next time nate, you should come up with some james brown sample

plus,i've never heard that TEXAS is on the south coast COWBOY!!!!

1** - Don't get in a beat battle if you dont want to lose
2nd - Don't post on forums if you dont want feedback
3rd - Lose your stereotype that people in Texas are Cowboys
4th - Third Coast - Houston - Galveston (in Texas)
5th - Dont be a dumbass

To sum it all up...... Keep the hate out your eyes.....do what you gotta do, but dont get mad cause someone aint feelin your beats....and btw, i dont make beats, im an mc...which qualifies me to tell you how it is about your beat cause people like me would rap over them....
Listen to my ****, and be real with your feelings.......2

p.s. dont hate nate cause he wrecked your beats

5.i've checked out your stuff..you ain't bad...i'm not trying to get back to you ,but production on your tracks ain't no big deal and i didn't hear no fly rhymez in your sh!t you just say alot but you don't say noting in the same time(like most of them mcs today)you are not wack...u are just common...and that's what makes me different from you i'm ORIGINAL..i'm trying to create something new...

don't you tell me to be real..i know where i m at and what i m...

check out mah new track sucka...this is how i get smooth and funky without ripping other people's samples...i just snatch the guy who plays guitar and we record some sh!t...whatever...i'm just proud that it's tottaly mine...

Yo B, your beat was interesting but wasn't hip/hop. In order to truly push the limits of hip/hop, you must first master it. You have to be firmly planted in hip/hop to push the limits and still be called hip/hop, like Outkast. No matter how far they push things, they are still hip/hop. I don't hear or feel that when I listened to your track. I see a lot of catz come to this board sayin' exactly what you said, and not quite makin the outcome they tried for. Take your time, and don't rush things. But plant your feet. It's sad to say this the way I'm going to say it, but...be normal and make music that is comparable to others, then once you've gotton to the point, go out and do your different thing. Here's my site so you know I'm not on bullsh*t.
