I had a friends JP8000, Orbit module, and some other stuff for a month or two, so I can tell you already that I dig the JP.
I don't know if I can find one for less that kind of price, (less then a grand U.S.)
I'm just looking for good deals on hardware. I've heard a few Korg's, and I liked them, so I'm willing to take risks.
I'd also rather get it from an major site, ie. ebay, so that I have more security .
) but the main weapon in my arsenal is my mint condition Yamaha DX7. I also got a great deal on that, and I am so glad I bought it. The original voices aren't bad at all, but with a little editing, you can get it howling.
