the best way ive seen was with sonar. ive used acid studio and it was pretty easy. sonar tho does what acid does and takes it a step further. the tutorials were on utube, peep

Can you provide a link and explain what you do? I've been having problems with this also and use Sonar too.
In my opinion, the best thing to do is find the actual tempo or bpm of the original trck of the acapella. Then find the drum pattern. Mimic the drum pattern then build your track around that.
u can use tap tempo to help get u close and then time stretch... it's that easy...

this is the method i figured out ... cut out a loop from the original track ... then loop it in whatever bpm it loops perfectly ...most likely it still wont be perfect..but it will be close..so keep playing the acapella over some basic drums in that bpm and see where the rhymes line up on the snares and kicks and if they dont match how they line up on the original just tweak the bpm up or down a little depending on if the rhyme is over the beat or under (behind) if that make sense ..then after a while ull have it perfect
