foerster
My beat is called "Ill Street". Short and sweet, so don't sleep!
check it out here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/1/cameronmusic.htm .
Peace.
B. Ward
i really didn't wanna do this beat (because it has a sample), but the other one I just wasn't feeling when I finished it, but oh well this will do.......pretty much just a snippet but it's good enough, hit me up if you wanna hear the entire beat, it's pretty long...lol
pzzz
Soul Survivor
good luck folk....
Analytical
The track is "Masterpeice Theater". It's the first joint on the page. Good luck to all the catz in the tourney.
Peace.

Good luck folks and may the best beat win!!
damn another tough choice... these later rounds get tough on us voters =p
this one boiled down to foerster vs. b. ward for me... all contestants here used samples i assume, its just that analytical's sample wasnt quite as mood-setting as the ones used by the other 2 fellas.
think im gonna go with foerster on this one, that funky piano was wicked and the drums were very nice, i liked the staggering of the percussion a lot.

Foerster - Maybe it's just me but I wasn't feeling that beat. The staggered drums just threw me off. They seemed off-beat at times. It just didn't appeal to me. Sorry, man. Just my opinion.
B.Ward - I am a big fan of your stuff. You have mad composition and production skills. I loved how clean this song sounded.
Analytical - Good beat, too. It is very inspiring. I liked it a lot.
With that being said, my favorite track was B. Ward's. However, my vote is gonna have to go to Analytical.
While I thought B. Ward's was the best produced. It sounds less like a hip hop beat and more like a soundtrack. It needs a harder drum beat.
My vote goes to Analytical.

B.ward has in my opinion the best out of the 3 beats.
The beat was put together well. The snare could have been more punchier I thought, but a good beat nonetheless. [VOTE]
The foerster beat was more swingin' and I like the idea a lot, but the beat has to be much tighter on the quantize for me. It sounded really loose, and I didnt particularly like the snare fill at the end of every 4 bars. Remided me of some old school rap.
The analytical beat, sorry to say was last for me because of the weak snare eq and just because I like the other 2 better. Nothing really that bad to say about the beat though.
Peace

Foerester... catchy song, feeling the beat but samples could be cut a little cleaner.
B.Ward...I feel like goin to war after that one... the break down where you go soft in the middle of it was nice.
Analytical...ILL ILL ILL....
This one is tough because BW and Ano are similar styles, where Foe's is completely different...
All are great in their own right but I have to pick sooo...
Vote: Analytical for the cleaner production of the three. BW's samples were a little cloudy compared to Ano's. By that I mean they sounded too sampled compared to the drums.

Superior production by B Ward and Analytical. Foerster's production skillz need some work. It just sounded too dirty and sloppy. In this contest, B Ward gets my vote.

... listened to tha jointz, and all of them were tight.. but B.Ward's beat just drew me into the whole thing, whereas the other beats were catchy, but didn't exactly give me that draw in feeling... of course, Ano, your joint was hot though.. after all, you beat me with that same beat. lol. We'll see tha next battle though. lol. Nah, playin'... but good luck to all of you... all were tight beats.
