I've been lurking around for just over a week and must say that there are some very dope folks on fp! I've learned alot from the vids and posts. I'm a lyricist trying to make beats mainly for myself as most everybody I meet in the streets is a producer but we never link up creatively for some reason.

Any advice on starting my sampling and sample based beat making? Looking forward to becoming a contributing member!
